What is the Travel Concierge Service?

Our full-service trip planning. We manage your itinerary, bookings, transfers, and activities from start to finish. It begins with a non-refundable deposit, which is credited towards your total trip cost if you confirm your booking with WilliamDavid Travel.
Best for groups, multi-destination trips, or travellers who want every detail taken care of.

What is the Blueprint Guide?

A ready-to-use trip plan you can book yourself. It includes a full day-by-day itinerary, vetted accommodation options, clickable booking links, maps, and insider tips. Best if you’re comfortable booking on your own and want a curated, pre-researched plan.

Why might the price for the same trip vary?

Rates change with season, demand, exchange rates, and supplier specials.

Pro Tip: Shift your travel dates to get as close as possible to the quoted fare.

Do I need the Concierge Service if I buy the Guide?

Not necessarily. The Guide is self-book. Concierge is best if you want it all booked for you or you’re travelling in a group.

I’m a single traveller. Can I still book?

Absolutely. Single travellers are welcome — you’ll just pay a single supplement for your own room.

What if I want to book for a group?

Yes. We’ll coordinate rooms, transfers, and activities. Groups should use the Concierge Service so everything is seamless.

Can I buy this as a gift?

Yes. You can purchase either the Blueprint Guide or Concierge Service for someone else. We’ll need the traveller’s details to start.

Do you arrange visas, flights, or insurance? (Concierge Service only)

Do you guarantee the hotels and activities in the Guide will still be available?

No. We only list vetted, reputable options, but availability and prices can change. Book early for best results.

Can you hold a rate or room for me?

This depends on the supplier. Holds are usually 24–72 hours and not guaranteed.

Do you price-match?

We don’t guarantee to match, but we’ll recommend similar or better options within your budget.

What happens if something changes with my booking?

If you booked via the Guide: changes are handled directly with the supplier.
If you booked via Concierge: we’ll manage changes for you, but supplier policies apply.

What’s included and excluded?

Check the “What’s Included” and “What’s Excluded” sections for each trip.

How do I pay?

We invoice in ZAR. You can pay by card or EFT. Bank/card fees are your responsibility.

How do deposits and balances work?

Concierge deposit secures planning and is non-refundable. Supplier deposit and balance timelines vary per trip. Refunds follow supplier terms.

Are there extra local fees?

Some stays may charge local taxes or resort fees at check-in. We’ll let you know if that applies.

What about check-in times and luggage?

Standard hotel check-in/out applies. Early/late requests depend on availability. Airline baggage rules vary.

Can you cater to special requirements?

Yes. Let us know dietary needs, mobility concerns, or accessibility requirements. Concierge clients get personalised arrangements.

Do you plan for children or age-specific trips?

Yes. We’ll advise on family-friendly or age-restricted activities.

Can I use loyalty points or status?

Often yes. Share your program details if using the Concierge Service.

Do you book Airbnbs or private villas?

We prioritise vetted hotels, riads, and lodges. Villas/Airbnbs are case-by-case if they meet safety and service standards.

How long will I have access to my Blueprint Guide?

Your download link is active for 7 days. Once saved, it’s yours to keep forever.

Can multiple people use my Guide?

Your Guide is licensed for your travel party only. Sharing or reselling isn’t allowed.

Will you update my Guide after I buy it?

The Guide is accurate at purchase. Updates are not included but we can refresh it for a fee or upgrade you to Concierge.

How quickly will you plan my trip under Concierge?

First draft is usually 3–5 business days. Complex or large group trips may take longer.

How many revisions are included with Concierge?

Two rounds of refinements are included. Extra revisions can be added for a fee.

Do you offer on-trip support?

Yes. Concierge clients get support during local business hours plus urgent contact options.

Do you provide cultural tips and safety info?

Yes. Both the Guide and Concierge itineraries include these.

What happens if there’s a strike, weather event, or force majeure?
We’ll help reroute or rebook per supplier policies. Any cost differences are the traveller’s responsibility.
Who is ultimately responsible for the booking?

Guide buyers: you hold the contract with suppliers.
Concierge clients: we coordinate on your behalf, but the contract is still with the supplier and their terms apply.
