As we continue to expand, we are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Travel Consultant to join our team and play a key role in the growth of our business. This senior position involves overseeing and executing all aspects of retail, corporate, and ad-hoc travel bookings for WilliamDavid Travel.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Travel Planning:

  • Develop and execute strategic plans for retail, corporate, and ad-hoc travel bookings.
  • Provide leadership in identifying new business opportunities and enhancing existing client relationships.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Act as a key point of contact for high-profile clients, ensuring their unique travel requirements are met.
  • Utilize industry knowledge and strategic thinking to enhance client satisfaction and 

Complex Travel Bookings and Execution:

  • Oversee and manage all aspects of complex travel bookings, ensuring a seamless and exceptional travel experience for clients.
  • Utilize a Global Distribution System (GDS) to make critical decisions and optimize travel itineraries.

Team Leadership and Mentorship:

  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior travel consultants.
  • Collaborate with the team in creating a high-performing travel department.

Database Management and Reporting:

  • Oversee accurate and timely updates of all transactions into the database.
  • Generate comprehensive reports for management, providing insights for strategic decision-making.

Market Analysis and Competitor Insights:

  • Conduct in-depth market analysis and stay informed about industry trends.
  • Leverage insights to identify competitive advantages and contribute to the company’s overall growth strategy.

Sales Strategy and Target Achievement:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve business targets.
  • Drive a sales-oriented culture within the travel department.
  • Create interesting and unique travel packages.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Compile high-quality business emails/reports for executive-level stakeholders.
  • Implement and maintain systems to ensure the highest quality control standards.
  • Continuously improve the quality (presentation, accuracy, and coverage) of travel-related information.

Qualifications:

  • Formal Training and 5 years of experience on Galileo/Amadeus (either system).
  • 5 years of relevant experience in a Senior Travel consultant role.
  • Strategic thinking and ability to develop and execute comprehensive travel plans.
  • Excellent leadership and mentorship skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to handle high-profile clients.
  • Sound commercial awareness and ability to drive business growth.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
  • Sales-driven and self-motivated.
  • Language skills: Excellent written and verbal English skills.
  • Galileo/Amadeus Certification (desirable).
  • General Travel Certification (desirable).
  • General NDC knowledge (desirable).

Working Hours:
Mon – Fri: 08:00 – 17:00. Sat: 09:00 – 13:00. Sun – Off.
